트럼프 미국 대통령이 국방 예산을 담은 내년도 국방수권법에 서명했습니다.

주한미군 규모를 현행 수준으로 유지하는 조항과 함께 우주군 창설 등이 주목됩니다.

이어서 트럼프 대통령은 20일 저녁(현지시각) 워싱턴DC에있는 앤드루스 공군기지에서 국방수권법에 서명했습니다.

서명식에는 부인 멜라니아 여사와 딸 이방카 백악관 선임 고문도 참석했습니다.

국방수권법은 미 국방 예산의 근거가 되는 법으로 내년 예산은 7천380억 달러, 우리 돈으로 850조 원이 넘습니다.

이번 국방수권법에는 주한미군 평택등에 주둔하고있는 2만8500명 규모인 주한미군을 임의적으로 줄일 수 없도록 하는 조항이 포함돼 있습니다.

따라서 동맹국에 대한 많은 방위비 분담 요구를 경계하고 대북 제재를 강화하는 내용이 포함됐습니다.
